MRL Technology is a specialist search company that focuses on specific and demanding technology market sectors on a European basis.

Or client is looking for a Platform Software Engineer
Location: Paris area

Within the Software team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing and maintaining low level software and device drivers running on a system-on-chip for Wimax applications.
You must have the ability to work closely with other teams.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are required.

Required Experience

- Engineering degree level
- Solid experience in low level software development: device drivers (UART, SPI, Ethernet, I2C, Asics), RTOS board support package
- Working knowledge of Unix as a development environment
- proficiency in C and C++
- Very good knowledge of Real-time Operating Systems (Threadx, VxWorks, eCos, Linux/RTAI)
- Very good knowledge of CPU architectures (ARM9, ARM11, MIPS, PQII, PQIII)
- Very good knowledge of Hardware and device drivers
- Experienced in hardware/software bringup.
- Fluent in English
